Delivery Time, Terms and Fees

The Merchants

In case, there are several outlets of the business / brand, the business / brand will have to mention the location of the item to be collected by the delivery person to deliver. The items should be ready within 30 minutes of the confirmation of the order to be collected and the delivery person will arrive starting from 30 minutes to within 2 business days to collect it.

In order to make the things smooth, the outlet will also mention the working hours of the outlet as the customers may place their order 24/7 and the delivery person may collect it during mentioned working hours of the outlet.

All the outlets can sell their products to all the customers on the Grbby portal. There is no limitation of physical travel. This makes the Grbby a unique and a very powerful E-Commerce platform. The outlet will be selected automatically once the customer will confirm the delivery location in case the delivery is not at the blue plate of the customer providing during registration. In case of alternative location for delivery, the blue plate information and the information of the contact person will have to be provided by the customer.

Note: Above terms only applies for the small products i.e. the products which can be carried by the delivery person on bike or in car. All the products which are big in size and heavy in weight will be charged case by case.

Customer(s) may also select the takeaway option, whereby the order shall be picked up from the business / brand outlet(s) by the customer(s). In such cases, the customer will not be charged with the delivery charges and delivery charges will not be included in the invoices for the customer(s).

The Customer(s)

Delivery of the products of choices at the door steps of the customer is a key point offered by Grbby. The dedicated team of delivery persons is always keen to serve the customers. Once the order is confirmed, it will be notified to the delivery team with the details of the customer(s) including name of contact person, address (Blue plate information). Delivery Team will assure the products are delivered to the door step of the customer / consumer within 3 business days after the confirmation of the order.

After the confirmation of the order, the delivery team receives the order from the outlet where the order has been placed. During the Delivery team may contacts the contact person of the customers (mentioned by the customers during the confirmation of the order) to align with them. After an agreement of the time and re-confirmation of the place and location (blue plate), the products are delivered to the customers and the confirmation is sent to the customer in notification tab of Grbby Portal.

In order to support the delivery mechanism, each order confirmation will be costing a nominal amount of QAR 25. The charges will be added into the invoice to the customer, clearly mentioning the delivery charges i.e. the amount of the product(s) + Delivery Charges = Net Bill.

Any extra amount paid by the customers, the due amount of the customer to Grbby will be added in the customers’ wallet and (either to be debited or credited). The amount will be adjusted in up-coming orders.
